MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES – Lyn Gilpin

Lyn is currently employed as a Child Protection Chair. This involves managing large multi professional meetings where concerns are discussed around the nature of safeguarding for children and young people. Lyn recently stood down from her post as Vice Chair of Croydon Council BAME group, but she intends to seek re-election as Chair. She is a qualified teacher of Sociology, Health & Social Care; she has taught children with learning needs and lectured in Social Work.

Lyn became involved with Culture& because “ I want to support an organisation that can offer a true plan for an individual to make a difference in the art world. “ Lyn is an Arsenal supporter and is learning to play the guitar when she isn’t cycling, running , walking or visiting art galleries.
