Member of the Board of Trustees – Zahra Alidina

Zahra is the UK’s youngest law graduate, having graduated from the Open University with an LLB Hons at the age of 18. Zahra has become an ambassador for the University, delivering talks to various sectors in eductation. Zahra has a Masters in law where the focus on her thesis was Human Rights on the Waitangi Treaty and Tribunal, and addressed how certain courts and legal process (both nationally and internationally) contribute to perpetuating racism in modern society. Zahra has experience in managing music artists and handling their public relations and marketing. Zahra also has experience in Pro Bono law, legal aid work and previously volunteered with disabled people and those with mental health issues.
