The Forgotten Legacy of May Morris

Most people know about William Morris because of his popular textile and wallpaper designs. However, his fame has often overshadowed the talent and success of his daughter, May Morris. May was a pioneer of art embroidery, and a significant figure in the arts and crafts movement. This podcast shines new light on May Morris as an artist in her own right.

Amber Marshall-Callaghan is a New Museum School trainee based at the William Morris Gallery.

Part of our New Museum School podcast series, produced in 2019 with Catriona Oliphant from Chrome Media.
