Liberty

Learning about the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force (WAAF) members of Bletchley Park inspired a conversation about significant women in history. The name and story of Noor Inayat Khan was then mentioned. This ignited research about Khan’s life and her role as an Hon. Assistant Section Officer for the Special Operations Executive.

In this podcast, Anika Begum, New Museum School trainee at Bletchley Park discusses the importance of Khan’s intelligence work in aiding the resistance movement in France during the Second World War.
