Chloe Greeves: ‘Are Apprenticeships the Answer?’

Are Apprenticeships the Answer?

The majority of museum conservators have a Conservation Degree or Masters, and are required to have a level of practical experience before being classed suitable for a position. Are the routes into the profession accessible to all, or does more need to be done? This podcast asks a number of conservators how they started off, and how they got to where they are today.

Chloe Greeves is a New Museum School trainee based at the Prince Philip Maritime Collections Centre, Royal Museums Greenwich.

Part of our New Museum School podcast series, produced in 2019 with Catriona Oliphant from Chrome Media.
